CASTLE REGISTERED YORKSHIRE TERRIERS 

AGREEMENT 

This agreement is made and entered 
into this ___________________ by and between ______________ (hereafter "Seller"), 
and __________________ (hereafter "Buyer"), for the purpose of setting 
forth the terms and conditions of the purchase of a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, 
Hereinafter referred to as Dog. Buyer will pay for the dog in accordance with 
the terms of this contract.  If the buyer fails to seek prompt veterinary attention within 48 hours, 
he/she forfeits all rights to replacement for medical reasons. At that time possession 
the balance of the purchase price, must be paid in full or the deposit is forfeited 
and alternate arrangements will be made for the placement of the puppy. The Buyer, 
if any, will pay transportation costs. 

This 
dog is to be sold as a pet. This dog is being sold with limited CKC (Canadian 
Kennel Club) registration, and there will be no consideration for breeding at 
this time. The Canadian Kennel Club for registration will accept no litters produced 
by the breeding of this dog. Limited registration precludes the buyer from showing 
this dog in conformation shows. Said registration entitles the buyer to register 
this dog with the CKC, and to enter and attend sanctioned obedience trials. It 
shall be understood that at the time of sale, this dog is NOT considered to be 
of show or breeding quality, but is representative of its breed and is structurally 
and temperamentally suited as a pet. 

It 
is agreed that at the time of possession the Buyer and the Seller have entered 
into a CKC registered Non Breeding Agreement. Should this Non Breeding Agreement 
be changed in the future the cost of rescinding that agreement with CKC shall 
be the financial responsibility of the Buyer. The Buyer agrees to have the dog named and 
listed in this contract, spayed/neutered within 6 months of possession. In spaying/neutering this 
dog the Buyer agrees to provide to the Seller a written spay/neuter certificate from 
a licensed practicing veterinarian. Within the spay/neuter certificate the veterinarian 
must sign and certify that he/she has spayed/neutered this dog and provide the tattoo 
number or bar code of the microchip of the animal.
 Seller guarantees that 
dog is in good health and has received appropriate medical inoculations and care. 
Seller will provide Buyer with a medical chart detailing treatment dog has received 
under Seller's care and future care Seller feels is essential to dog's well being. 
Seller recommends no rabies shot on said animal until the age of 5 (five) months 
unless required by local ordinance of Buyer's residence. Seller has tattooed or micro chipped the 
dog, before possession of the Buyer, for the purpose of registration in accordance 
of CKC bylaws. The Buyer agrees that at the time of possession the dog purchased 
by Buyer is indeed tattooed,and or micro chipped and the Buyers initials reflect that the tattoo is 
legible, and is indeed present on the inside right flank of this dog. Agreed _____________________

The 
Buyer and Seller agree to a three-year warranty against disabling congenital genetic 
defects. Determination of constitutes a congenital defect is to be made by the 
unanimous agreement of two independent Veterinarians agreeable to both parties. Cost of the 
opinions is to be assumed by the buyer. If a problem develops that is proven to 
be the Seller's responsibility, the Seller will replace the dog The Seller is 
not liable beyond the original purchase price, and must be promptly notified of 
any problems in writing by the veterinarian. In case of death a necropsy must 
be obtained at the Buyer expense within 24 hours of death to establish cause. 
Because these conditions may be caused or exacerbated by environment and injury, 
Luxating Patellas and Hernias are not covered under this guarantee.

Should 
Buyer decide to relinquish ownership of this puppy/dog at any time during its 
life for any reason other than those directed by law, Buyer agrees to return puppy/dog 
to Seller as fast as possible by safest means possible that will not endanger 
the life, welfare or well-being of dog. All costs incurred for the return of the 
puppy/dog as well as any expense resulting from medical treatment and/or training, 
reconditioning or socialization will be the responsibility of Buyer. All registrations 
(litter & permanent) must accompany the dog. This dog may not be sold, placed 
or in any means ownership relinquished to another party unless agreed upon by 
Seller and expressed in writing by Seller to Buyer. If at any time Buyer is unable 
or unwilling to provide for this puppy/dog it must be returned to Seller under 
the terms specified above. 

If Buyer requests 
delivery, it shall be by airfreight, prepaid to a designated location. The buyer 
assumes all costs, responsibilities, and liability related to shipping including, 
but not limited to: air, land, or water transportation; quarantine expense; other 
vaccinations not included in the "Sales Contract"; food, care, injury, 
death and other health related issues; and all other third party handlers. 

The 
Buyer agrees that he/she us not acting as or in part of, an agent in the purchase 
of this puppy and that the Buyer will not sell this puppy or it's any of it's 
progeny to any agent, pet store, or guard dog business. The intent of this contract 
is to provide Buyer with a quality pet. No warranties or guarantees other than 
those stated have been given or implied. This agreement is made in the province 
of Ontario Canada, and may not be altered, modified or rescinded unless agreed 
to in writing by Buyer and Seller, and any actions resulting from non-compliance 
of the agreement will be settled in Ontario Canada. Purchaser will be held liable 
for all legal fees and court costs. Any placement costs, maintenance costs, boarding, 
medical and associated miscellaneous costs related to this puppy/dog will be the 
responsibility of Purchaser. 

This Agreement 
is made and signed by both parties to insure the well being and protection of 
this dog. Should the terms of this agreement be violated, whether incidentally 
or deliberately, Breeder/Seller will pursue his options as stated in this Agreement 
to the fullest. 

 I affirm 
that I have read, discussed and understood the terms and conditions of this agreement. 
Further, I agree to abide by the letter of the terms and conditions as well as 
the spirit of this agreement. I am aware of and fully understand the possible 
consequences of breaching this agreement.
